I am a neuroscientist trained in computational modelling, data analysis and experimental design.
As a neuroscientist, I am fascinated by brain activity and its role in cognition and behavior. I want to uncover how our ability to perceive, select and remember information is supported, regulated and reflected in neural activity. To do so, I analyze the rich neural activity underlying these processes using statistical data analysis, computational modelling and machine learning.
As a scientist in general, I am interested in how knowledge of neuroscience and my skills can be applied to help solve some of the problems and challenges we are facing as a society. I am intrigued by the potential machine learning and artificial intelligence has in improving the quality of our lives. I am also interested in the general questions and ethical concerns that surround the field of AI.
In my everyday life, I enjoy solving problems and learning new skills. I love cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
